Cooper Heston Ventress, age 20, passed away on August 28, 2016 at Paola, KS. He was born December 28, 1995 at Shawnee Mission, KS, the son of Jack and Michelle (Heath) Ventress.

Cooper was a student attending Pittsburg State University and Johnson County Community College. He enjoyed all sports including football, basketball and working out. He was a master at playing X-Box games. In his spare time he loved hanging out with his beloved friends from Louisburg and Frisco, Texas. His four legged family pets were always there at his side unconditionally. Cooper was a fun loving character and will be sadly missed by all.

He is survived by his parents, Jack and Michelle, of the home; two sisters, Sarah (Ventress) Hooper and Jana Ventress; grandparents, Dorthea Morgan and Emmitt Gene Ventress; two nephews, Nash William Hooper and Jacob Eugene Ventress; multiple aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends.

A celebration of life for Cooper will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Louisburg United Methodist Church, 249 N. Metcalf, Louisburg, KS.

The family suggests contributions to USD 416 Endowment Association c/o Cooper Ventress or to Wayside Waifs.
