Dorothy Mae Barr Truman, age 92, Louisburg, Kansas, died February 2, 2017 at her home.

Dorothy was born Nov. 2, 1924 to Frank and Helen (Funk) Barr in Belton, MO. She grew up in the Belton and Raymore, MO.

Dorothy married Harry A. Truman on June 1, 1946. Her life revolved around family, faith, and farm. She was active in church; sent cards and delivered pansies to sick and shut-ins.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; and parents Frank and Helen Barr.

Dorothy is survived by daughters, Wanda (Greg) Triplett, Linda (Paul) Trimiar, and Sue (Nate) Apple; grandchildren Kristy (Ryan) Young, David Triplett, Nathan (Cindy) Apple, Scott (Holly) Apple, Alana Trimiar, James (Christina) Trimiar; 14 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Interim Hospice.
