Donald A. Stahl, age 86, of Bucyrus, KS passed away on February 28, 2017 at Golden Living Care Center, Spring Hill, KS.

He was born on February 11, 1931 at the family farm in Louisburg to Albert and Louise (Furthmyer) Stahl. He married Doreen Meyer on May 1, 1976 at Holy Rosary Church in Wea. They made their home in Bucyrus and recently celebrated 40 years of marriage.

Donald attended Keenan Grade School and graduated from Wea High School. He was a lifelong member of the Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. As a teenager he contracted Polio. After his recovery, he attended Body and Fender School and worked as an auto body repairman until he returned to his true passion of farming.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Bernard and Ralph.

He is survived by his wife, Doreen; one sister, Helen Dozier; sister-in-law, Janice Stahl and many nieces and nephews.

The family suggests contributions to the Queen of the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
