Theresa Jane Thibodeaux, 51, of Louisburg, Kansas passed away suddenly on February 28, 2015.

She was born December 27, 1963 in Kansas City, Kansas. The youngest of four children, Theresa was quite a tomboy or as her mother referred to her lovingly a “girboyl”.

She received her GED and started her working career and her family. In July 1983 she married John Nutter and had two children. The marriage ended in November 1992 and for many years her family and animals were her whole life.

Theresa’s hobbies included remodeling her home and listening to music. She was especially proud of her Eric Church and Pretty Reckless shirts from their concerts.

When she became a grandmother her world centered around her grandbabies. Being “Me-Me” / “Nanny TeeTee” was the best thing in the world to her. She loved to work in the yard with her grandkids close behind. Having five grandbabies definitely kept her busy.

In June 2010 she married Robert Thibodeaux.

For 12 years she worked for Mid America Management as a complex manager. She would do it all – painting, sanding, yard work, electrical, plumbing, and office work. She was firm when she needed to be, but was always willing to help anyone who needed it.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lee Brown and brother, Patrick Wayne Brown. Survivors include parents, Gale and Lucille Brown; siblings, Bonnie Coleman (Harold), Michael Brown (Anita), and Timothy Brown (Vicki); children, Kenneth Nutter (Lindy) and Tara Young (Derek); grandchildren, Aiden Young, Landon Manning-Bush, Kenton Nutter, Kenna Nutter, and Lillian Bush.

Memorial contributions may be made to a Wayside Waifs.
