William “Everett” Carson, age 80, of Louisburg, KS passed away April 13, 2015 at Blackhawk Assisted Living in Spring Hill, KS. He was born September 11, 1934 in Muskogee, OK the son of Clifford and Pearl (Holder) Carson.

Everett worked for many years at restoration of furniture. He served his country in the United States Army and Navy for twelve years. He enjoyed helping with the local food pantries in Tahlequah, OK and Louisburg. Everett was very dedicated to his catholic religion. While living in Tahlequah he would take communion to shut-ins and people in need. After becoming ill with Alzheimer’s he moved to Louisburg to be taken care of by his two sisters Ruby Lee and Goldie Belt. Everett never married, but made sure that all of his nieces and nephews were a big part of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Sam and Ben Carson and four sisters, Alva Roach, Helen Carson, Dorothy Hays and Lillie Hubbs.

Survivors are three sisters, Goldie Belt, Shawnee, KS; Margie Secoy, Fort Worth, TX; Ruby Lee, Louisburg, KS and many nieces and nephews.

The family suggests contributions to the Crossroads Hospice, Blackhawk Assisted Living, Spring Hill, KS or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
