Dorothy R. Guetterman age 86, of Bucyrus, KS passed away September 11, 2015 at the Raymore Rehabilitation Center, Raymore, MO.

Dorothy was born May 29, 1929 to Charles and Iva Ealy Karstetter. She married John R. Guetterman on October 22, 1960 at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Wea, KS.

Her faith was an important part of her life as she was converted to the Catholic faith in 1960. She and John were members of the Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Wea. They were always present at many of the Catholic functions, always being one of the first to arrive.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, John on August 7, 2010, her five siblings, Orville Karstetter, Charles Ray Karstetter, her twin, Deloris Prothe, Lois Minden Werth and Don Karstetter.

Survivors include her three sister in laws, Mary Klawonn, Paola, KS; Voleta Karstetter, Manhatton,KS; Cecilia Seuferling, Louisburg, KS ; brother in law, Marvin Prothe, Osawatomie, KS and her nieces and nephews.

Dorothy lived a simple quiet life with a smile always on her face. Johnny was always by her side as they did everything together.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church or to the Knights of Columbus Wea Council 12546.
