Leslie Eugene Meek passed away November 10, 2015 at Olathe Hospital at the age of 82.

Leslie was born January 10, 1933 to Lem Edward and Elizabeth Cole. He graduated from Louisburg Rural High School with the class of 1950. He married Joyce Wallace on November 4,1951, and to that union three children were born, twins Denton & Dennis, and Shelly.

Leslie was a Naval Reserve veteran. He was an electrician by trade and a member of Local Union #226. He was a member of the Louisburg United Methodist Church in Louisburg. He was also involved in the Lions club, Masonic Peace Lodge #243, 32nd Degree, Shrine club, and the American Legion Post # 250.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister LaVera Mack, and his daughter Shelly Tooley.

Surviving are his wife of 64 years, brother-in-law Schuyler Mack, son Denton and wife Terry, Dennis, and son in-law Ken Tooley. Grandchildren, Melissa Soto, Aaron Meek, Josh and Troy Meek, and Matthew Tooley, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorials contributions can be made to the Louisburg United Methodist Church or Masonic Peace Lodge #243.
