Kenneth (Ken) James Bunney, age 53, of Louisburg, KS, died peacefully on November 29, 2014.

Celebration of life will be held 4:00 -7:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2014 at the family’s Home.

Ken was born January 12, 1961 in Pittsburg, KS, the son of William Calvin and Eva Roberta Pittman Bunney. He attended Southeast Cherokee High School before marrying Ann Beytien and raising their two children in Louisburg.

Ken worked as an electrician from 1975 to 2014 and became a proud member of the Local Union I.B.E.W. 124 in 1995.

He cherished time with friends and family and believed firmly in respect, consideration of others and standing up for the underdog. He also loved living in Cape Coral, FL. and experienced true happiness on the beach and on the boat with his family and his dogs.

Survivors include his wife Ann of the home, his two children, Clinton J. Bunney, Louisburg, KS; Amanda M. Bunney, Overland Park, KS; four siblings, Frank Bunney, Eva Seward, Roberta Johnson and Joyce Parsons.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Great Plains SPCA,9800 West 67th St. Merriam, KS 66203.
